What is Electrosport?

When Can I Go?

Masks Required

  • Thursday 5:30pm to 9:30pm
  • Sunday 10 am to 4pm

If you are standing in an open area and there is no one near you, you can remove your mask.

The heated pit room and the driver stand requires a mask, unless you are alone.

Masks Recommended

Per Ottawa Bylaw rules, but the law specifically says to respect those who are exempt.

  • Friday 5:30pm to 11:59pm
  • Saturday 10 am to 9pm

How Much Does It Cost?

The fees are based on a per driver basis.

  • $20 per driver per visit
  • Monthly pass $60 per driver
  • 14 and under half price
  • Not transferrable, not refundable, but credit will be given in some situations.

How to Pay:

  • Send your fee by E-transfer in advance to ward@electrosportRC.com.
  • In the etransfer message, enter driver’s name and session they plan to attend.
  • Transfer will autodeposit to “edward yaternick”. If your bank doesn’t allow autodeposit, then enter ELECTROSPORTRC as the password

Planning Your First Visit

  • The indoor area is designed for 10 scale cars and trucks (and smaller)
  • Large body cars and trucks are allowed if batteries are 9.0 volts or less. Basically, drive safely and don't cause damage.
  • If you are not behaving safely, or not behaving in a family friendly way, or are driving dangerously or causing damage, you will be asked to leave. In this kind of situation, there will be no refund granted. There are security cameras which are monitored remotely and after the fact or incident.

  • Always prepay, by e-transfer
  • There are power outlets for your battery chargers, but bring your own extension cord.
  • Sorry but we do not offer rental cars.

Driving Directions to Electrosport RC

From highway 416

  • Bankfield exit,
  • turn east (Manotick)
  • Start slowing down after you drive by the Hydro Substation
  • Turn right when you see 1600, the first driveway on the south side.

From Prince of Wales Drive Southbound

  • turn right on Bankfield Road towards highway 416
  • Drive past Kilreen Lane
  • Watch for next driveway
  • there's a Ottawa Polo Club sign. Turn left. There's a small sign with the numbers "1600"

Step by step, On Your Arrival

  1. After you turn into the 1600 Bankfield road, drive straight towards the siloes
  2. Take the third left, into a parking area, you will see an Electrosport sign.
  3. Park in the designated area. Be careful of icy or muddy conditions. You and your entire party are there at your own risk and responsibility. This is an unmanaged property.
  4. Enter the building by the front door (there's a sign),
  5. If you have not arrived too early, the lights and heat will be on.
  6. Find an unused table and unpack your RC Stuff
  7. If you plan to charge batteries, plug your extension coird into a powerbar.
  8. Follow safety protocols for charging batteries.
  9. Start using the Clay Track and enjoy your time.
  10. The lights go off at closing time, pack up and leave earlier than that.
