Everyone has a hair pin-up – a go-to muse they revisit ahead of every salon appointment. Maybe yours is Brandy, or Suki Waterhouse. Lily Collins has made it clear that hers is none other than Victoria Beckham.
Appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Collins chatted to Fallon about spending her first holiday season with her baby daughter. She also revealed that music by her father [Phil Collins] can be heard softly playing throughout her home in the mornings.
She also confessed her “very deep love” for the Spice Girls, and described being in her “Posh era”, inspired by Victoria Beckham. “She will always do it better, but I will say that when I was on set this season, I definitely was inspired with the cut.” The Emily In Paris star was subsequently surprised by the “Spice Up Your Life” singer herself – they met face to face on Fallon’s couch.
The two also filmed a short comedy video together, with Collins acting as a superfan and lip-syncing to “Wannabe”, while Beckham spies her from across the hall and runs away, bewildered.
